The Ithaca Project
The Ithaka Project is my journey home; not to a single destination, but to a vision where community, healing, and storytelling belong together. What began as scattered passions like film, narrative, advocacy, mentorship, safe spaces, has become an ecosystem rooted in reciprocity and collective power.
I think about The Odyssey, where Ithaka is more than a place: it is the meaning we gather along the way, the voices we carry, the wisdom we exchange, and the home we build together. So you’ll see odes to Homer’s poem.
Here, we choose to tell our stories. And in telling them, we resist erasure, we honor each other, and we shape the future.
The Chorus: Voice Lab & Media
The Chorus is where story becomes a way to resist silence and a way to imagine something new. Through film, journalism, and community storytelling, we create spaces where voices rise together and carry farther than they could alone. Here, story is both memory and movement. It keeps us connected, it holds truth, and it clears space for futures that honor us all.
The Agora: Community Commons
The Agora is our place to gather. It is where community, partners, and allies come together to share ideas and build what cannot be built alone. Here, conversations turn into commitments. Relationships grow into trust. It is a living commons where dialogue, creativity, and action move side by side.
Mentor’s Table: Youth Pathways
Mentor’s Table is where wisdom is shared across generations. It is not a classroom and it is not a stage. It is a table where people sit together, trade stories, and learn by exchange. Here, mentorship is not top down but side by side. It is rooted in reciprocity, guidance, and the belief that growth happens in community.
